Industrial Pipe Marking

Putting labels on pipes, called pipe marking, is the number one use of labels in an industrial facility.  Typically more pipe markers labels are used than any other type of label.  As a result, this is the most common use for a DuraLabel custom label printer.

Most pipe marker labels need to conform with the ANSI A13.1 code.  It specifies the pipe marker color, text color, pipe marker size, and the locations where pipe markers must be placed.  Other codes, such as the IIAR code for ammonia refrigeration piping; the CGA code for medical gas pipe marking; and the Commercial Building Pipe Marking Standard specify how pipes in some specific types of applications must be labeled.

DuraLabel printers can handle any pipe marking need.  From ANSI A13.1 to the special requirements of marine pipe marking.  DuraLabel printers have the right supplies, in the right colors to make whatever types of pipe markers you need.  With a DuraLabel printer in your maintenance shop you can make pipe markers, valve tags and OSHA safety signs and labels as needed.  No waiting.  No high costs of using an outside service.  And with a DuraLabel printer making your pipe markers is fast and easy.
